The spicy, sweet aroma of cloves has a stimulating effect in cases of instability and weakness. Due to its properties, cloves are traditionally used diluted for oral hygiene, but they are also popular in Asian and Indian dishes. In Asian cultures, cloves are known as an ingredient in curries and other spice blends. In our part of the world, we associate cloves primarily with the Christmas season. Because of their warming properties, cloves are mainly used in mulled wine and Christmas sweets. They harmonize well with orange, tangerine, and vanilla. Use very sparingly!

Clove essential oil has a stimulating and revitalizing effect. It is suitable for memory and concentration problems. It is used as an aphrodisiac.

It can be used as a repellent in combination with geranium and lavender.
Combines well with aromas of sweet orange, lemon, cinnamon, rose, rosewood, vanilla, benzoin.

APPLICATIONS:

• For room fragrancing - max. 5 drops in an aroma lamp for rooms up to 20 sq.m.
• For massage - no more than 10 drops of essential oil are added to 50 ml of a carrier oil of choice.
• For a bath - 3 to 5 drops of essential oil, previously dissolved in 2 ml of carrier oil, are added to a warm bath.
• In cooking - for flavoring dishes.

Tip for culinary use: The number of drops is determined according to the quantity of ingredients and personal taste. The essential oil is first mixed with honey, syrup, or vegetable oil, then added to the other ingredients. If possible, avoid heat treatment or add it at the end.

ATTENTION: Store the essential oil tightly closed in a dark place and out of reach of children!
